Metaloid Precursors, Inc., Begins Germane Gas Production in Terrell, TX

Terrell, TX – Metaloids®, an electronic gases manufacturer for the semiconductor and photovoltaic industries, today announces the startup of its 5 metric ton annual capacity germane gas manufacturing pilot plant to meet increasing needs in the photovoltaic and semiconductor industries.

Metaloids plans to leverage its proprietary gas purification technology to expand the capacity for germane production in Terrell in tandem with changing market conditions.

Speaking on these developments, Mat Tezock, Metaloids President and Chief Technology Officer indicated “germane gas increasingly supports growth of thin-film solar power arrays and strained silicon-germanium applications for microprocessor CPUs. Metaloids offers qualified gas solutions to both market segments to meet specific customer requirements”.
